DEEANN FT. DEE LUCAS – ‘KEEP COMING BACK TO YOU’

The lyrics to DeeAnn’s latest single “Keep Coming Back to You” explore a theme of returning to a supportive bond, which can be interpreted as either a relationship between two people or a spiritual connection to listening to God’s Will. Featuring hit saxophonist Dee Lucas and produced by veteran keyboardist, composer William Green, “Keep Coming Back to You” is set to become DeeAnn’s well-deserved breakthrough.

DeeAnn DiMeo is a multi-award-winning Buffalo-based singer-songwriter renowned for her sultry, emotionally charged “jazzy soul” sound. Blending jazz, blues, R&B, gospel, and pop with powerful vocal delivery and captivating stage presence, DeeAnn inhabits every song—delivering fresh, heartfelt interpretations that connect deeply with audiences. Hailing from Niagara Falls, NY, she comes from a musical family and began performing at age seven. Influenced by her father, jazz vocalist Frank DiMeo, and legends like Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan, she built an early career in pop, rock, and country music, earning back-to-back Best Female Vocalist awards at the Buffalo Music Awards. After a hiatus to raise her children, she returned in the mid-2010s fully embracing her jazz and soul roots.

Her achievements include induction into the Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame (2019), Best Female Blues Vocalist honors, and being crowned Jazz Female Vocalist of the Year in the 2025 JazzBuffalo Poll (where her debut album It’s My Time also dominated voting). Produced by contemporary jazz bassist RiShon Odel, It’s My Time (2023) marked a breakthrough with personal highlights like the sultry “Stay Here with Me.”

Her highly anticipated 2026 album Still with Me (produced by Grammy-nominated Ted Perlman) built on that momentum, featuring “You’re the One for Me” and the poignant “William’s Song,” (written for her late son) alongside soulful covers including “I’m Still Standing” (Elton John), “Simply Beautiful” (Al Green) and “Kiss of Life” (Sade), which have gained strong chart traction.

A versatile, genre-defying artist who draws directly from life’s joys, losses, faith, and resilience, DeeAnn performs regularly with ensembles like the Joe Baudo Quintet and at festivals and intimate venues. Now in a creative prime, she continues to create authentic, memorable music that resonates long after the last note.
